** Edited 7/25/2022 – Updated information regarding stipends provided to Travel Nurses.
For the last year and a half, ARMStaffing has sought to provide the best resources possible to our clinical team as they battle the COVID-19 pandemic. On March 18, 2020 our President and CEO, Denis Zatlin confirmed our commitment to our workforce as you may have read here: A Letter From ARMStaffing President Regarding COVID-19.
The scale of the pandemic has shifted in the United States and the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) ended on September 30, 2021. Additionally, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) enacted an Emergency Temporary Standard to ensure the safety and financial security of healthcare workers who are facing the dangers of an exposure to COVID-19.
ARMStaffing will be changing the way we compensate our nurses when exposed to or recovering from COVID-19 to comply with the new employee quarantine and paid leave regulations.
We remain committed to supporting you and your incredible efforts to tackle this pandemic head on. Let us ease the worry and angst from your mind so you can handle the most critical assignment there is – preserving our way of life.
If you are required to quarantine because of COVID-19, whether through exposure or illness, ARMStaffing will ensure you continue to receive compensation. Per OSHA guidelines, you will receive your weekly pay, up to a maximum of $1,400 per week. This exceeds the OSHA requirement and a reflection of our culture of “Going Above and Beyond” for our nurses and clients.
We stand united with our clinical team as they continue put themselves in harms’ way for the betterment of our country. We truly hope these additional measures taken by ARMStaffing will create a strong sense of care and financial peace as our workforce persists through uncharted times.
