Just an hour outside Philadelphia, Longwood Gardens is home to over 1,077 acres of gardens, woodlands, and meadows. These gardens change each season depending on what’s in bloom and the current upcoming holidays.

Highland Park
Right outside of the Highland Park Historic District in center city Pittsburgh sits the adequately named, Highland Park. Highland Park is well-known for its Reservoir, Victorian-style Entry Garden, biking trails, lake, and of course the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium!
Spend the day visiting the zoo, enjoying the beautiful views of Highland Park, and then end the day at one of the surrounding bistros or cafes.

Presque Isle State Park
At the top northwest corner of PA sits the most visited state park in Pennsylvania, Presque Isle State Park. Off the coast of Erie, PA, this state park sits on Lake Erie and is home to 11 miles of beaches, concert spaces, lighthouses, and lagoons.
This little isle has much to offer for everyone! Take a relaxing day on the beach, go sightseeing on a boat tour, or enjoy biking along the many trails located throughout the park.
